Brooches are a classic accessory, worn for centuries. Today they are regarded as items of adornment. But brooches were originally functional items, intended to secure pieces of cloth to the wearer.
Everyone is somewhat familiar with some form of brooch, whether it be that big flower that your grandmother wears on her fitted pink blazer, or it be that expensive Chanel brooch you see on the runway.
They can come in so many different colours, shapes and sizes and the best part is - they don’t discriminate! You can wear any style you like, any way you like.
